Interview by: Tammy Renee'
WP: Hi Claudia! You look beautiful today. I consider you as a great friend and glad you are here today. Since I know you, I would like to introduce you to the world. Let’s begin with you telling our viewers a little about yourself.
CR: Thank you, Tammy. Hi everybody! My name is Claudia Rivarelli. I´m a fitness and bikini model. I´m a fashion designer, too. From the age of 6, I started skating because I had a problem in my legs. Thanks to this sport, my legs are fantastic today. When I was 16, I started as a fashion designer and is actually one of my current professions. I have always been athletic and have liked sports, fitness and martial arts (kick boxing). This year, I compete in jiu jitsu.
I studied at my local University (Communication Area 3 years) and took 2 years of graphic design at Bios University, too. I'm currently a fitness model and do photo shoots in Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil. I will soon be doing photo shoots in the United States and Mexico. I have also appeared in magazines, catalogs, on TV programs and web sites. I enjoy doing sports videos for USA, actually.
WP: What an interesting array of professions and hobbies. You reside oustide of the United States. You speak english well. I love your accent! Where do you reside exactly?
CR: I reside in Uruguay, a country in South America. But, travel a lot for my work to different countries.
WP: You should be proud to have such great english and get to travel around the world. What do you feel has been your stepping stone to get where you are today?
CR: One of my stepping stones is changing my mind and go to the gym everyday to look and feel better. Then, I change my body. When I started, I was very thin woman. I feel bad. Everybody tell me, "Claudia, you are thin" and I spoke very bad of them.I don’t want to see my reality. I ate bad, too. One day, my friend told me, "You must change your body. Trust in me." And now, I watch myself and I don’t believe it. I feel better with my body and my mind. Thanks to my friend.
WP: Not wanting to face reality can be hurtful but friends usually tell you because they care. It's great to have caring friends and have an open mind. Look at you now. You have the perfect physique. What has it been like to maintain your physique today? Has it been a tough road?
CR: Train all the days. I don’t like aerobic gym, but I do martial arts such as kick boxing and jiu jitsu. Yes, skating when I was a kid. I love skating. Now, I'm skating again. I missed it.
WP: I was brought up skating and I love it, too. It's just like you said, great for the physique. What is the hardest thing you have had to deal with when it comes to your diet?
