WP: Hey, Oscar! What was it that made you know without a doubt that you wanted to go into bodybuilding?
OG: Hello, Tammy. I knew I wanted to be into bodybuilding because I liked the results I got from working out and knew I wanted more.
WP: That will sure do it. How long have you been lifting?
OG: I’ve been lifting for about 7 years now. It keeps me going!
WP: What are your best lifts?
OG: I would have to say the bench press and dead lifts.
WP: Do you have any advice to people that wish to build more mass and more cut?
OG: Yes, I do. One should combine heavy lifting with high intensity training, like supersets, tri-sets, etc., and do moderate cardio 2-3 days a week. Also, eat high protein, low-fat diet. Try eating 6-8 meals daily.
WP: Great advice. What do you eat in a normal day?
OG: I like to keep it pretty balanced. I follow a strict diet 5 days a week.
WP: Do you allow yourself a cheat day?
OG: Yeah, I try to switch things up and eat whatever I want, at least 2 or 3 days a week, to keep my body guessing and burning unwanted fat.
WP: What supplements do you take?
OG: I take multi-vitamin, Creatine, Protein Powder, Nitric Oxide, and “Ignition Stix” by Hydroxycut, for pre-workout.
WP: Could you tell me a story of how you have gotten where you are today?
OG: I have always been athletic, and played almost every sport in High School. So, it was pretty natural for me to take up bodybuilding. Since, it has become my lifestyle, and I love it.
WP: Do you have anyone you can thank for helping you get where you are?
OG: I guess I would have to say my mother and father because they gave me the genetic make up that has allowed me to excel in bodybuilding. And, I’d have to say John Mitchell, my Photographer, for helping me into the fitness modeling world, by providing me with top-notch photography.
WP: A good Photographer will make a difference in a person's life that has goals in this industry. You have to trust the Photographer. Once you can do that, you have a great person on your side. Tell me about your modeling.
OG: I am just basically on a mission to become the best and most recognized Fitness Model the world has seen.
WP: Keep your eye on your goal! Where do you want to be in 5 years?
OG: I plan to be on my way to the top of the fitness industry.
WP: We'll have to follow you just to watch the success! You look great! How do you keep the physique you have? What is the hardest thing for you to face when it comes to keeping your physique?
OG: I basically train smart and avoiding injuries.
WP: Injuries can sure set you back a few notches. Tell me about your future projects. Have any in sight?
OG: Yes, I am currently talking with different Modeling Agencies and am hoping to be doing another shoot with John Mitchell in the near future.
WP: What gets you up in the morning?
OG: I get up each morning knowing I have a whole new day of potential opportunities of all kinds.
WP: Great outlook. How do you approach a challenge?
OG: I approach a challenge with the intention of conquering it, ASAP.
WP: How do you create balance in your life?
OG: I create balance by trying to allow myself various ways of relaxation, so that life’s everyday struggles don’t bring me down.
WP: I understand you worked with John at bbpics.com. What was it like working with him?
OG: It was a great experience. John really takes great pictures. I’ve gotten plenty of compliments on his work.
WP: How did he go over and beyond for you?
OG: He has helped me by seeing that I was in a comfortable, and pleasant environment the entire time of shooting.
WP: Would you recommend him to your friends? If so, why?
OG: Yes. I would recommend him because John is one of the best in the business.
WP: Oh, no! You can't say that about him. Run! His head is exploding from growing so big! Ha-ha! I have to agree. He knows his stuff. What one piece of advice you can share with me on how to gain the most muscle the fastest?
OG: One must combine the proper diet with the proper exercise plan.
WP: Are you married, dating, or do you have kids?
OG: I have a 10 year old daughter and a girlfriend.
WP: Who had the most impact on you growing up?
OG: I have to say my Mother has the most impact on me while I was growing up.
WP: What is your work out regimen?
OG: Since I am an advanced bodybuilder, I usually am in the gym 4 to 5 days a week. I believe in giving my body plenty of rest between workouts for optimum gain.
