There are times in our lives when something unexpected happens. Something wonderful that takes us by surprise, allowing a glimmer of hope that maybe, just maybe, what we have resigned ourselves to thinking is not the inevitable case for us after all.

We all have days when we are exhausted and flat, mentally and physically drained. Days that seem to go on forever, you can’t wait for them to end, to be away from everyone and alone.

Those are the days that test our mettle.
